Young Ringer of the Year - 2007

The Winners of the 2007 Young Ringer of the Year award were announced at the Guild AGM in October. A huge congratulations goes to...

  • Martha Willdig (Loughborough District)
  • Daniel Iliffe (Market Harborough District)

The Winners were presented with a special certificate and a Steve Coleman ringing book each. Well done again to our winners, and to everyone - get thinking for next year! And if you don't have any young ringers - check out what the 3Rs Committee offers to help!

Started in 2005, the Young Ringer of the Year aims to annually reward one young ringer from each District for their progress/achievements in the past year.

Presentations are made at the Guild AGM each year, with winners receiving a certificate and prize. It was decided in 2005 that 'young', was probably best left not clearly defined, however it was expected that no-one over 25 should be nominated.

The Award aims to promote the young ringers in the guild, and give them the encouragement and recognition they deserve.

If you know someone who you'd like to nominate for the award in 2008, then talk to your District Secretary.
