Bell Restoration Fund

This is a separate registered charity, set up by the Leicester Diocesan Guild of Church Bell Ringers, and controlled by its General Committee. Its object is to provide financial assistance in the form of grants to Churches within the Diocese of Leicester, for the purpose of maintaining and improving their bell installations. Maintenance and improvements might include work on existing bells, their fittings, and their frames, or work in connection with new bells and augmentations.

Fundraising Committee aims to provide support to towers wishing to raise funds for their own BRF projects and to support the Guild districts in raising money for the main Bell Restoration Fund. This page also contains information on how you can help.

Allocations Committee meets annually to consider all applications received for grants from the Bell Restoration Fund, before making recommendations to the General Committee.

Each year the BRF Committees produce an Annual Report, outlining fund accounts, the year’s grant allocations and the grant outcomes. The 2006 BRF Annual Report is available here

BRF 100CLUB

The BRF 100CLUB is open to all adult Guild members. Draws take place every month with three cash prizes for the winning 100CLUB members. Each member has a number and if their number is drawn they win! Simple!! The proceeds go the Bell Restoration Fund and are a great help in keep our hobby alive for ourselves and generations to come.
